A 150-year-old farmhouse and barn is brought back to life while keeping its rustic antique charm and adding the modern amenities every family wants. In the barn hayloft, the builders salvaged old beams and left them exposed. The original hay moving track and pulley system was re-installed on the central ceiling beam. The pale gray cabinets have a historic charm. Acrylic dining chairs and steel barstools can withstand wet bathing suits, while the steel dining room table, which is on casters, is easily moved about the room.
