I proposed to work on the living room of the cottage for my design. The space was well-suited for coziness, with lots of textures and a comfortable sofa. Leather-bound sisal rugs were added for softness, as well as an Ikat-patterned ottoman, a Danish modern chair from my personal collection, brought in a different era, lots of natural elements, such as photography from Karl Blossfeldt, and succulents in large vessels, brought the outside in. Interesting artifacts add depth to the room and a drink could be poured from the bar cabinet. A space that is conducive to reading a great book in front of the fire.
