Light-Filled Kitchen

A kitchen with structural elements that couldn’t be moved but had to be addressed. A renovation with solutions that cast a beautiful new light and added symmetry to an asymmetrical space. Another long-term client who badly needed an update to their kitchen, but the existing architecture presented its share of issues.  There were staircases and a load bearing beam that could not be moved, so the challenge was to make these “uglies” visually disappear while also adding much needed storage, space and light.
